The Grand Prix du Bourbonnais stage EpiqE Series gave its verdict this Sunday December 11th at Vincennes Hippodrome de Paris. It was clear and without appeal. Bold Eagle dominated rivals brilliantly. After wisely waiting in the peloton, the champion placed a thundering acceleration at the entrance to the final straight. His disconcerting victory of ease has raised the enthusiasm of his many fans and all the public. Lionel, second, and Voltigeur de Myrt, third, also qualified for the Prix d’Amérique Opodo Finale EpiqE Series. Bird Parker, as in the Grand Prix de Bretagne, finished fourth. Timoko, author of an encouraging return to Vincennes Hippodrome de Paris, took advantage of the disqualification after investigation of Bolero Love to take fifth place.
So we know the names of six qualified for the Prix d’Amérique Opodo of January 29, 2017: Anna Mix, Propulsion, Princess Grif (the first three of the Grand Prix of Brittany), Bold Eagle, Lionel and Voltigeur de Myrt. Two other names will be added to the list on Sunday 25 December at the end of the Critérium Continental and the Prix Ténor de Baune. The Grand Prix de Bourgogne, the next of the four “B”, will take place on January 1st.
