The Grand Prix de Belgique, the sixth and last qualifying race for the Grand Prix d’Amérique, will keep the public in suspense on Sunday 12 January at the Hippodrome Paris-Vincennes. This will be the last chance for harness trotting cracks to get their ticket to the World Championship scheduled for Sunday, January 26. The first three of the event will have the right to participate in the summit confrontation.

15 protagonists, among the best competitors of the moment, will start for an exciting match on the 2,850 meters of the Big Track. A major objective: to qualify for the Grand Prix d’Amérique, but also to refine his physical condition and his preparation for fifteen days of the queen event. Bélina Josselyn, winner of the 2019 American Grand Prix, had been denied victory after an investigation last year for embarrassing a competitor. Will the champion seek revenge on bad luck?

Certain competitors in the running have already obtained the precious sesame. They are Excellent, Davidson du Pont, Looking Superb and Délia du Pommereux. Their sparkling shape will be a precious asset to stand out again. Others have just missed the boat and will throw all their fire in the battle, like Enino du Pommereux, fifth of the Grand Prix de Bretagne and Bourbonnais, Tony Gio, fourth of the Grand Prix de Bretagne, and Uza Josselyn, fourth of the Grand Prix du Bourbonnais and Bourgogne. There are many contenders but only the first three of the Grand Prix de Belgique will be able to fly to America. Suspense and high-level sport will meet on Sunday at Paris-Vincennes!
