Face Time Bourbon, winner of the Prix d’Amérique “Legend Race”, will face eight opponents in the Prix de Sélection on Saturday March 6 at Hippodrome Paris-Vincennes. A specialist in speed courses, the crack Face Time Bourbon will evolve in his element on Saturday in this highly coveted Group I. He liked the 2,200-meter Grand Piste de Paris-Vincennes route with a flying start. Sébastien Guarato’s protégé simply holds the record. He established it last September in the Prix de l’Etoile. It posted the supersonic kilometer reduction of 1’09’4!
Face Time Bourbon is also the double defending champion of this Group I which he won in 2019 and 2020. A hat-trick has not been achieved since the legendary Jamin, winner in 1957, 1958 and 1959. The double winner of the Prix d’Amérique “Legend Race” 2020-2021 will therefore aim for a new feat and a 30th victory in its dazzling record, for only its 36th appearance on the track. Frisbee d´Am, Fakir du Lorault, Fric du Chêne, Fairplay d’Urzy, Foxtrot Sea and For You Madrik seem the most likely to worry him.
