One of the major events on the planet of the Trotters took place on Saturday, October 9 in Aby, Sweden. The UET Grand Prix, Group I reserved for the best European 4-year-olds, crowned the Calgary Games, coached by Finland’s Timo Nurmos. This son of the crack Readly Express dominated the French Hirondelle Sibey, Mister Hercules and the two other tricolors Heliade du Goutier and Hakim Griff. The winner left a tremendous impression. Will he try the adventure at Paris-Vincennes this winter? A priori no. His entourage is meeting the public in the Capital for the 2023 Prix d’Amérique “Legend Race”.

Two other prestigious Group I were on display at this gala meeting. The European 3 Year Old Championship was won by Ivensong, a French filly prepared by Philippe Allaire. The Danish Extreme beat the favorites in the European 5 Year Old Championship.
