Contract fulfilled for Face Time Bourbon! The French champion beat the best European trotters of the moment in the Grand Prix of the Lottery, Sunday October 3 in Naples. Sébastien Guarato’s rider, driven by Eric Raffin, finished second in this Group I last year. Victory was not lost on him in the 2021 edition! Second in his qualifying battery, the 6-year-old won the Final ahead of Alrajah One and Vitruvio. Defending champion Zacon Gio could not do better than fifth. Drôle de Jet, another French at the start, finished sixth. Face Time Bourbon, the third Habs entered, failed to qualify for the Final.
Face Time Bourbon gives us an appointment now on Sunday November 21 at Paris-Vincennes. He will compete in the Prix d’Amérique Races ZEturf Qualif 2 – Prix de Bretagne, then Qualif 3 – Prix de Bourgogne on Sunday January 2nd. He will then try to win a third Prix d’Amerique Races ZEturf “Legend Race”.
