Winner of the 2021 Prix d’Amérique “Legend Race” for the second year in a row, Face Time Bourbon will line up at the start of the Lottery Grand Prix on Sunday (October 3) in Naples, Italy. Sébastien Guarato’s champion is trying his luck again in this prestigious Group I, a year after finishing second behind Zacon Gio, who will also be in contention. The 6-year-old had recorded one of the rare failures of his career. He has in fact totaled 39 outings, for 33 victories, 5 second places and only one disqualification!
The Lottery Grand Prix will be organized into three qualifying races and a Grand Final. Face Time Bourbon inherited the number 5 in its battery (A). There he will meet Vitruvio, who was seen in the Prix d’Amérique Races ZEturf competition last winter. Fric du Chêne, second of the three French entered, will start from corridor 6 in battery B. Drôle de Jet, third tricolor (number 8) will face the formidable Zacon Gio and Vivid Wise As in the qualifying race C. We should review these cracks during the next Winter Meeting in Paris-Vincennes.
