First and second of the Critérium des 5 Ans having delivered a superb fight in the last straight line, Davidson du Pont and Délia du Pommereux had been two stars of the summer meeting of Vincennes. But their stardom did not stop in fine weather. On the contrary. The two main actors went up a notch by dominating this beginning of winter meeting. For the moment the bosses, they are them. For proof, their consecutive victories in the Gr.II Prix Marcel Laurent (Delia du Pommereux), Grand Prix de Bretagne (Davidson du Pont) and Grand Prix du Bourbonnais (Delia du Pommereux). A takeover that they will both be responsible for confirming in the Grand Prix d’Amérique on January 27th.
In the meantime, and with their tickets for the biggest race of the calendar, the duelists are competing in the Prix Tenor de Baune, one of the six qualifying races at the Grand Prix d’Amérique. A new meeting whose contours will be changed this time: if the mare Sylvain Roger will be driven by his driver since the beginning of the winter Damien Bonne, Davidson du Pont will be associated with Franck Ouvrie.
