Disqualified during her last three outings, Belina Josselyn had nevertheless the favors of the betting at the start of the Prix Ténor de Baune, Sunday December 25 at Vincennes Hippodrome de Paris. Nothing surprising, however, when we looked at the mare’s previous results. She won the Prix d’Eté (Group II) and was dauphine of the champion Bold Eagle in the Critérium des 5 Ans. The resident Jean-Michel Bazire set the record straight but had to struggle to win the palm. She won against Bird Parker and Briac Dark, disqualified after investigation. Thanks to her victory, Belina Josselyn qualified directly for the Prix d’Amérique Opodo Finale EpiqE Series. After his performances missed in the 2 “B”, the Grand Prix de Bretagne and Bourbonnais, her entourage and her multiple fans breathed a sigh of relief!
