Elsa de Belfonds will participate in the Prix d’Amérique Races ZEturf QUALIF # 6 Prix de Belgique on Sunday. The mare will thus make her entry into the most prestigious competition. This is an opportunity to get to know him a little more. After a career start under the responsibility of Thomas Levesque, Tornado Bello‘s daughter left Normandy in March 2018 to join the French Riviera. She settled in the Alpes-Maritimes, more precisely in Villeneuve-Loubet, in the establishment of Nicolas Ensch. She adapted very quickly to the change of environment as she won on her first outing for her new coach, on April 23, 2018 at Marseille-Borély. It was at the Cagnes-sur-Mer racecourse that the 7-year-old mare won her finest trophies, notably the Group III Prix de la Côte d’Azur in January 2020. Elsa de Belfonds now totals 460,580 euros of gains, for 13 victories in 52 attempts.

A major challenge awaits Nicolas Ensch’s protégé as she has never won at Paris-Vincennes and has not raced there since being based in the South East. It is also the first time that she will face such opposition. Her coach, however, assured the media that Elsa de Belfonds is in perfect physical condition. His adversaries are warned.
