Gabriele Gelormini won the Prix d’Amerique Races ZEturf Qualif # 1 associated with Diable de Vauvert, confirming his place with the top 10 of the best French drivers. Born in Italy, the 29-year-old arrived in France as a teenager with the hopes of one day becoming a catch-driver. After his training with Jean-Michel Bazire, for whom he started in 2010 and won his first race again in the spring of the same year, Gabriele Gelormini, son of a trainer, made a name for himself. Today he has more than 700 victories. It is true that, for the past five years, he has won at least one hundred races per season, with a personal best of 130 winners, in 2016. The previous season, Gabi, as he is nicknamed by his supporters, touched the Grail. On January 25, 2015, at the Voltigeur de Myrt sulky, he finished in 2nd place in the Prix d’Amérique behind Up And Quick, driven by Jean-Michel Bazire, to whom he is a neighbor in the changing rooms at Vincennes.

Voltigeur de Myrt holds a special place in the career of the man who celebrated his 29th birthday last September. It was in fact also with him that he won in France the first of his Groups I (the highest level of competition) in the Prix René Ballière in 2015. From the following year, he saw other great moments, including success in the Grand Prix de Wallonie (Group I) in Mons (Belgium), with Amiral Sacha. After having participated in five consecutive Prix d’Amérique ZEturf Legend Races between 2015 and 2019, Gabriele Gelormini, who has been part of the French top 10 drivers for five years, also won his participation on the last Sunday of January thanks to the victory of Diable de Vauvert in the Prix d’Amérique Races ZEturf #Qualif 1 Sunday. The Italian teenager he was never stopped dreaming.
