The Grand Prix du Sud-Ouest Paris-Turf is an unmissable event for the region’s trotting champions. The 2021 edition will take place on Sunday October 17 at the Beaumont-de-Lomagne racecourse, in Tarn-et-Garonne. Two stars of previous Prix d’Amérique Races ZEturf events will participate in this Group II: Etonnant, winner of the Prix de Paris “Marathon Race”, and Bahia Quesnot, fifth of the Prix d’Amérique “Legend Race” and fourth of the Prix de France “ Speed Race ”. Timoko‘s son will play almost at home as he is trained in the Landes by Richard Westerink. The mare prepared by Junior Guelpa will make her comeback after four months of absence.
However, this prestigious duo will have a difficult task facing the phenomenal Cleangame. Jean-Michel Bazire’s protégé remains on three straight wins and will start with the status of big favorite. His gelding status will not allow him to be seen in the next Prix d’Amérique Races ZEturf competition, which will kick off on Sunday 21 November, the date of Qualif 1 – Prix de Bretagne.
