The last day of the Meeting d’Hiver at the Hippodrome Paris-Vincennes will take place this Saturday, March 5th. It will correspond to Pursuit Day with two thrilling Group Is on the bill. Hohneck will contest one of them.
The Prix de Sélection, at the Sulky, and the Prix des Centaures, at the Etrier, will be the major events of the program, Saturday March 5 at Paris-Vincennes. These two chases will pit 4-year-old champions, who will start 25 meters ahead, against their elders aged 5 and 6. Hohneck will compete for the Prix de Sélection with obvious ambitions. The resident of Philippe Allaire had a superb season marked by three great successes, including the Prix d’Amérique Races ZEturf Qualif #3 – Critérium Continental. This victory had opened the doors to the Finals of the Prix d’Amérique Races ZEturf competition. Hohneck had thus tried his luck in the Prix d’Amérique Legend Race, obtaining a magnificent fifth place. It seems logical to consider him on the top step of the podium.
His boxing companion Italiano Vero represents a dangerous rival, he who will start at the first rung. He repeats all his good outings at the highest level and already has a solid experience. Idao de Tillard, Gamay de l’Iton, Hussard du Landret and Hokkaido Jiel will be the other most prominent protagonists. After this Pursuit Day, the Hippodrome Paris-Vincennes will close its doors for a few weeks. It will launch its spring meeting on Friday 25 March.
