He won two Opodo America Awards, has long been the historic record-winning horse, has generated another prize winner from America’s Opodo, and is now throne as a leading stallion on Europe. Ready Cash is a rare, perhaps unique trotter.
Its longevity:
Ready Cash started at 2 years old and continued his career up to 9 years gleaning two Prix d’Amérique (2011 and 2012) and 33 Group, including the Criterium des Jeunes and the Critérium des 3 Ans, and the Trotting Masters 2013 aged 8 years, while interrupting his career every spring to carry out his mission of breeding stud.
His class :
Endowed with an unusual kick from his legs and a very slow heart at rest, he was also able, as he often did in his early years, to take the Race to his account. Rare are the double winners of Prix d’Amérique, he is one of them, and we can even add his second place in 2013, which preceded his two victories in the Grand Prix de France et Grand Prix de Paris that same year.
Its fertility:
Ready Cash made the start at the age of 4, and immediately the first flagship of its production were illustrated at the highest level on the track: Avila (Criterium of the Young and Prize of the Star 2013) Axelle Dark (Albert Viel Award 2013). In his second year of production, the “B”, he quickly became one of the biggest breeders, having conceived in this generation the phenomenon Bold Eagle, the winner of Group I in the two specialties Bird Parker, and the fast Brillantissime , Before the next generation was able to convince the final skeptics: Charly du Noyer and Canadian d’Am, champion in the saddle, not forgetting the Swedish winner of the Grand Prix de l’UET Ready Express. In the “D”, again, the best of the generation are still progeny of Ready Cash: Django Riff, a male, and Dawana, a female.
His fame :
As the success of his daughters and sons grew, the reputation of Ready Cash extended to all of Europe, where he had never raced except in Belgium. It is now the stallion most sought after by breeders since no breeding has been available for standard sale since 2014. Past € 10,000 in the first years (from 2009 to 2012), its breeding price has changed dramatically, Apparition on track of his foals and fillies. This tariff has to date no fixed fixed price, the stallion being complete probably for the years to come.
Its breeding rates over time:
2009: 10,000 €
2010: 10,000 €
2011: 10,000 €
2012: 18.000 €
In 2013 and 2014, with the exceptional quality of the performance of its first offspring, the Ready Cash protrusions have been increased to become so rare in the past two years that its owners now grant them only in private transactions.
2013: 18.000 €
2014: 18,000 € (private sale)
2015: 18,000 € (private sale)
2016: private sale
2017: private sale
To date, and besides Ready Cash with Bold Eagle, the only standard trotter of the modern era to have generated another winner of American Prize is Lurabo with Abo Volo. If Bold Eagle were to win a second Prix d’Amérique, Ready Cash would beat another record: a double winner generating a double winner would be unique in history. Another way to enter the Legend.
