The cold and rain that prevailed on the Paris-Vincennes Racecourse, this Saturday, November 21, did not prevent the audience from attending a race of high quality. The favorite Voltigeur de Myrt could not defend his chances since he was obstructed by an opponent and was then rapidly disqualified. The spanish champion Trebol resolutely took the lead while Up And Quick, the winner of the Prix d’Amerique Opodo 2015, was waiting in the middle of the field. Anna Mix, who experienced once again difficulties at the start, came fast in the downhill, but could not reach to take the lead and had to settle outside Trebol. Despite this, the daughter of Ludo de Castelle accelerated in the home straight but could not resist to the final sprint of Akim du Cap Vert who won the first qualifying race for the Prix d’Amerique Opodo in 1’13”0. Both back to their best form, Village Mystic finished well and took the third place just in front of Texas Charm. Up and Quick and Timoko ran wisely. Aladin d’Ecajeul did not seem at his best, like Un Mec d’Heripre who was running his second race after an 11 months break.
