The favorite <strong>Voltigeur de Myrt<\/strong> could not defend his chances since he was obstructed by an opponent and was then rapidly disqualified. The spanish champion <strong>Trebol<\/strong> resolutely took the lead while <strong>Up And Quick<\/strong>, the winner of the Prix d\u2019Amerique Opodo 2015, was waiting in the middle of the field. <strong>Anna Mix<\/strong>, who experienced once again difficulties at the start, came fast in the downhill, but could not reach to take the lead and had to settle outside <strong>Trebol<\/strong>. Despite this, the daughter of <strong>Ludo de Castelle<\/strong> accelerated in the home straight but could not resist to the final sprint of <strong>Akim du Cap Vert<\/strong> who won the first qualifying race for the Prix d\u2019Amerique Opodo in 1&#8217;13&#8221;0.
